Maria is a skilled licensed REALTOR® in the State of Maryland, a member of Greater Baltimore Board of REALTORS®, the Maryland Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®. A former education administrator with the State of Maryland, Maria is the first Hispanic appointed to the Maryland State Board of Education. A native of Cuba, Maria immigrated to the U.S.as a child and is fluent in both English and Spanish. Her experience of learning a new language and culture while struggling in school, influenced her work at the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE), where she focused on improving the academic experience of international students throughout the State.

As a REALTOR® and a thirty-year resident of Baltimore, she has a proven record of meeting and understanding the needs of an international and diverse high-end clientele serving  the metro area’s local and international community.

Maria is well versed on effective marketing, legal compliance, negotiations and transaction management.  Her main goal is to coordinate and help her clients with all aspects of their purchase or sale from the home search, contract negotiation, home inspections and contract fulfillment to the closing details, while helping to avoid potential problems.  She will help you identify homes that match your criteria, meet your needs, and eliminate those that don’t.
